I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S A NEW YEAR ALREADY...

Wow, 2010 went by in a flash and already, 2011 is here and established. Each day seems to pass in a blink of an eye and I can't believe it.

Anyway, how is everyone doing? Yes, I do not blog as frequently as I used to but, I am here. Sometimes folks see me at Nigeriancuriosity.com. Other times, I am on Twitter (well, a lot of the time) and on Facebook. I chat with bloggers from time to time, but I swear, it seems like there are not enough hours in the day anymore.

*sigh*

So how have you guys been? I hope you are all in good health and that your families and friends are the same.

The kids are up to their usual shenanigans.

The Enforcer (TE) continues to be bossy but her brothers love it. She has been Student of the Month, Student of the Week many times at her school and we are SUPER proud of her. The girl is in the 1st grade but is reading at 5th grade level and she qualified for a gifted program in our region. Yup, mama hen is clucking away in pride, but I am especially thankful for the blessing that is my first child. =)

The King (TK) continues to monitor my spending, lol! His father couldn't be more proud. He has taken on more responsibility and makes sure everyone in the house gets along. He went through a phase were he was a little rude, but I just enacted Operation Mommy Does Not Play (OMDNP) and that brought an end to it. *wink* He's reading and doing very well at math (we home school him) and well, overall, no complaints, just gratitude.

And, Bomboy. Well, what can I not say about the famous little boy? Okay, he's bigger but still skinny. He knows so many words now that I have to sit and listen to him for long stretches at a time. Not complaining, though. And he asks so many questions at once! My goodness! I though TE was talkative but Bomboy is on track to take the crown! He and I had a little bit of a rough patch. But, again, OMDNP did the trick. Yes, he continues to flirt with women, but, he's sly about it. So he runs up to ladies, gives them hugs and kisses. It always works. Hmm, not sure if that is slicker that telling women "You're so beautiful" but so far, so good.

Husband is fine as well and we all went to Dominica in December for some well-deserved rest and relaxation. I have video and pics but have been busy. Will ave to upload everything soonest. I introduced my in-laws to jollof rice, indomie noodles and serious Nigerianisms. You should hear them trying to talk like a Nigerian. Hilarious!!!! They can't wait to visit Naija.

What else has been going on over here? Ooh, I'm trying to exorcise myself of a show habit. I think I will have to consult my computer friends for help with that. Nothing like free therapy, shebi? heehee.

Okay, I have to stop now. Plenty of work to do. Because I have no shame about things, I want to ask those inclined to pray to offer up some prayers for me that I will complete a few projects on time this year. I can't let another year pass without doing those things that must be done and shall not be mentioned. lol!

I hope you are all well and that your new year is blessed and remains so.

See you around!
