TALK TO THE EASIER CREW: JONATHAN ELENDU

For this week's TTTEC segment, but given that a fellow blogger, Jonathan Elendu, is now in SSS detention, I thought I would take a quick second to ask you all to say a prayer for the guy and his family.

Hope all is well with you guys and I'll see you all on Monday.

God bless.

i wont be careful with what i write. if the watery beans needs to be spilled, then spill it. the bad chef shouldnt have cooked us watery beans in the first place. blogging no be beans talk o. they better be ready to deal with a lot more people like elendu.

once upon a time, all we had was one RADIO KUDIRAT. fortunately for them, at this point P and time T, there wouldnt only be a RADIO KUDIRAT, there'll be ElenduTV's, radios, newspapers, blogs, podcast, watelse.

all im saying is for every Elendu that gets locked up there'll be 20 more asking not only why he was locked up but helping him complete the sentence he was trying to complete b4 he was locked up

Umm, I really didnt know things like this is still going on in Naija. Ummm this is not good at all. And I only hope 9_ja Kuti's sentiments hold true. Freedom of speech is a human right and one should not be imprisoned for such. Have a lovely weekend.

we are still not a democratic nation. whatever happened to due process? I don't see any reason y they shld ambush him unless he has made threats against the president or other citizens.

I just hope he gets out of it intact. He needs a lot of prayers.

I'm not surprised that we're not allowed to criticize our government. But many of these "politico-bloggers" have been using their blogs as a way to further the agendas of certain government officials and perhaps Elendu lost his backing or his backer's lost theirs. Who knows? It is really scary that our government doesn't even care how this looks to the outside world.
